I can't get ann onto a purple heart I give her chocolates (wrapped up)every evening and a spa-boiled egg in the morning I have been doing this for a season but she is still on a black heart?

ANSWERS

You have to see her heart events in order to get her to the next heart level.
Black heart, 11:00 AM - 1 PM at the Inn
Purple heart, Wednesday through Saturday at 10AM - 1PM at the Inn
Blue heart, Monday or Friday, 12:00PM - 7:00PM at the Inn
Yellow heart, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday, 10:00AM - 7:00PM at the Inn.
Also this should help

Birthday: Summer 17 (If you choose Summer 17 as your birthday, Ann's birthday will be Summer 22.)
Heart Point: Buy food from the Inn.
Likes: Eggs, Spa-boiled eggs, Strawberry Milk, Curry Rice, Rice Cakes, Pancakes and Cheese Fondu.

During the day give her as many of the flowers you can get, give her sweets or rice cakes, or more complecated egg dishes instead of the spa-boiled egg.
On my first game I every played, I always picked all the flowers and gave it to her, by second season she was at purple heart. During winter dig up diamonds or pink diamonds. Diamonds are on floors that end in 0, like 10, 20, ect...and the pink diamonds are on floors 30, 70, 90, 110, 130, 170, 190, 255.
