Question for Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

1. What are the legendary fish for, and where do I catch them? What rod do I need?
2. What are the king fish for, and where do I catch them? What rod do I need?
3. Why can't I catch anything with my blessed rod? I get a bite but I never have a fish when I pull it out!

1. The Legendary fish (or river kings like they're called in the game) are a requirement to marry the harvest goddess. You need to catch all 6 of them as well as every other kind of fish there is in the game.

A. Jp. Huchen, down stream, to catch him you need to have the Sushi, Sashimi, and Grilled Fish recipies in your Recipe Book
B.Monkfish is found in the Sea, fish between 10pm to 8am. You can only catch him during winter and spring.
C.the Catfish is in the Hot Spring, you don't need to do anything special to get him although possibly Winter only.
D. The Carp is found in the Lake you have to Ship 200 fish. Catch it any season but winter.
E. The Squid is at Sea. Throw a small fish into the water,then fish. You can catch it any season but winter.
F.Coelacanth, in Winter Mine Catch the other 5 kings, then dig down to the 9th floor of the Winter Mine and fish in the pond that's down there. to catch these fish you need a lvl.6 rod or higher.(blessed)

2. The 'king fish' are just another name for the 'legendary' or 'river kings'
