Question for Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

What is a "gameshark?" I hear so many people talking about cheats for it but I don't know what it is? Is it something that you have to hook up to your gba?

A Gameshark is a device that you insert into the slot where you put the games in. There are some codes already in it, but if you don't have codes for the game you need, you have to put them in yourself (Which is annoying). I got mine at a Target for $19.99+ tax. Go to gameshark.com to get codes.
