I beat the whomping Willow and got through to the shrieking shack. But now on my way out I am stuck on this big giant troll. I can't beat him, does anyone know anyother way around.

Fighting him is the only way around. He is actually pretty easy. Have the spell Icendio Tria, use Hermoine's Be More Careful on the strongest person and have tons of Grand Wiggenweld and Grand Pepperup Potions. Keep using Icendio Tria and healing with Potions. I murdered him on my first try.
