Question for Golden Sun: The Lost Age

What do you do at the Madra Catombor or whatever it's called when it's telling you that you need a key where do you get the key or do you need a certain psyenergy? P.s please helpm me I'm really stuck at this part.

First you need Piers then you use psyenergy frost.
