Not really.

Use djinni that will shield your party. Like shade and flash... Use one for each turn (there are three shield djinni, one is an earth djinni, flash is a fire, and shade is a water) use it on the first turn...then reset it on the next turn, then use it again. The party member who is doing this won't ever be able to battle, but if you have two party members doing this (like jenna and sheba for example) then you take much less damage.... The battle will take longer, but you won't lose everyone so easily.

Use mist potions and make sure everyone is holding a lot of water of life.

Otherwise it's a tough battle.
