Obtain Pokeball before facing Rival game shark code for Pokemon Sapphire

Obtain Pokeball before facing Rival

Start a new game and enter this code: CE2CCCB25D8D815D (walk through walls). After you deal with the situation with setting the clock, bypass Professor Birch by sticking to the far left and go through the trees. Continue until you get to Oldale and go left. Bypass all the trainers and this lunatic who thinks he sees a footprint created by a rare Pokemon and continue all the way to Petalburg. There is a Pokeball next to the right entrance of Petalberg Woods. Pick it up and if you want, you can head for the Safari Zone and get Natu. You need a Pokeblock Case from Slateport Contest Hall first.

That is a very good idea! I also capture my Poochyena after doing a little scavenger hunt for Pokeballs.

You can do that as well. I rarely catch legendary pokemon with a masterball, which is why I use a regular pokeball because Poochyena are common. Of course you don't have to kill it if you don't want to when you do the pokeball scavenger hunt code before choosing your initial starter. It is also helpful you are right. Also, you can duplicate the master ball code to catch the legendaries before getting the master ball legitimately from the base of Team Magma/Team Aqua (depending on version) near Lilycove City.

you also might find it helpfull to use the masterball code to catch the poochyena instead of fighting it.
