Serenade Tips

Serenade may be the "most powerful navi on the net, but he dosent take much to defeat. The key word here is patience. I can complete this battle without losing a single health and so can you with a few simple tips. One, sheild. Reflect wont really help here since it wont do any damage to the underking, but sheild can stop all of his attacks while you wait for your opening. Second, you can only attack Serenade while he is holding his hand out and breaking your pannels. Use attacks that can go through solid objects. Plantman helps alot here by extending the opening alowing more hurt to be delivered. And finaly, PATIENCE is key, dont hurry, you have no reason to rush this battle, take your time and soon even the king of the undernet will tremble before you.

Bass GS- Help

This name can strike fear into almost any netbattler. Bass GS is a dreadful opponent whose power is matched only by....well, his power. With a 200 aura and the ability to recover said defense with only minimal warning, he is a daunting challenge, well worth the star you earn for beating him. Im gonna give you a few pointers that help me put the kabosh on this baddy.

+Reflect- This simple program will help quite alot, it can defend you from basses incredibly powerful attacks and let you deal some damage of your own.
+Geddon/Sanct- One of my favorite things to do in this battle is throw down a poison geddon followed immediatly by a sanctuary. Hurt him, defend you.
+Plantman- Plant mans chips may not break his barrier but they can stop him from getting it back, plus they hold him for three attacks after, giving you much needed breathing room.
+Holy Aura- Sure theres no aura in the game called a holy aura, but toos down a sanctuary and a life Aura and youll fel quite godly for a few turns as nothing bass can do can break this aura.

The Mystical Shifting Sword VAR

Alot of people I talk to get ahold of a VAR sword and think its just an amped up version of the sword. Oh how wrong they are. This baby can be a virus busters best friend. A standard Chip with 160 damage and a frightful secret, its a powerhouse. Here are two of my favorite combos for this shifting blade.

(*note, hold down the A button while you do these)
Fighter Sword-(Left)(down/left)(down)(down/right) (right)= This is just like the Hero Sword battle chip, only 20 less damage. Good for reaching that pesky virus behind a rock.
Sonic Boom-(Left)(B)(Right)(B)= Basically protomans three slice attack only performed quicker. Good for deleting multiple virii or one powerful one. Not as good on navis though due to the first attack making them flinch. But its hard to miss with this if your in the middle square.

V4 Navis Got Ya Down?

Everyone knows your can get V4 navis from finding there random battle and farming them until you S rank them with team style. But sometimes thats not as easy as it sounds, granted it dosent even sound very easy. There is one other, time cosuming, way however. Collect around 500 bug frags and haul off to secret three. The 10 bug trader can give you any chip including the V4 navisand will more often than not, give you the chips you need.

I don't know if you noticed but when you use yo-yo 1,2,or3 on momogro etc. It turns upside down. By the way not really a hint.i was just puttin it out there.oh yeah this is a hint:when fighting momogro etc. ,just stay in the back and they can't attack you.BUT ,use a far ranged gun on them like yo-yo,magnum,vine etc. Also if I forgot anything then I'm sorry.im new here and Happy Cheating!!!

Fast Frags

All you have to do to get fast bug frags is to get a counter.to get a counter destroy the enemy with your megabuster or a chip on the enemy when it's going to attack.the only way to get a counter is when you attack the virus it deletes them.now if you go to ACDC area 1 and run into mettaurs when they pick up their
Pickaxes attck them and you will get a counter do that to all 3 and you will get 8 bug frags.remember it's a matter of timing.then use a locenmy and keep doing that over and over till your satisfied.

Totally oblterate protoman

Simple all you need is undersht on, a wood style and grassstage* as your regular chip. Use the grass stage before you do anything else protoman will only e able to get you down to 1 before you instantly start healing it really messes with him because he can't change pannels if you really get him mad he'll even use delta ray!

Behind the rock

Near the end of the game you have to find the undernet server.It is at the Yoka hotel ,the giant rock behind the spa.

Enemy Tip (hint if you like)

When you fight an enemy bosses most of the time when you see it's shadow move
Up, down, or side to side

Modtools

You know when you put in codes in modtools notice you can only put one code
Note* if you try to put in more than one the previous one will be cancled

Defeat Mistman V3 with S busting level.

First make sure you have an Elec style equipped. Then go into battle with a good snake folder (4 snakes;same code, 4 wood+30, geddon 2's, and a lot of area stealing chips). Keep adding stuff and stealing panels while you hunt for the good chips.

Use FstGauge in the Navi Custimizer. While in battle charge your charged attack. After Mistman uses or starts to use his tackle 6 times stun him quickly with your charged attack to avoid being hit by poison mist.

Repeat until your ready. Crack the panels with geddon 2 when your ready (its best to do this when your on the far right row to maximize the amount of places for snake to come out).

Use as many snake as you can to finish him off. I have gotten an S rating 4 times in about 10 battles using this stratagy and the others were all about 9.

Use ElecTeam style to get the V4 chip.

Alpha

When facing off against alpha at the end of the game, Don't waste your chips when trying to break his aura down. Do it with your megabuster and then use chips after his aura is gone. If you don't do this, you will probably run out of chips before you have depleted his HP. Also, it is a good idea to have a chip folder consisting of only one or 2 letter codes (excluding * codes) so you can have a good chance at being able to use multiple chips against alpha while his aura is worn down and not have to worry about waiting for the Custom Gauge to fill up. Get an aura

Walk around the Secret Area with a Collect Program. Eventually, you'll find some Scuttz.

Beat them and you'll get a Megachip for Lifeaura.

Defeat beastman

To easily defeat beastman the FIRST time, stay in the bottom right hand corner and wait for him to jump in front of you and slash, when you see his shadow in front of you, take one step back and blast him. If he's in the top middle square and throws his hands back, it probably means he's going to dash at you, just take a step back and wait 'till he's done!

FlashMan chip And Muramasa Blade M

When you fight against a strong opponent. You should have the Muramasa Blade in case you need a strong weapon and Flashman.

Have Flashman and wait till you get to your next chip change. Make sure the person your fighting is in front of you and then use Flashman. Then click L/R and Strike the guy with your Muramasa Blade and you will win the Battle.

Remember you have to get hit alot of time before you can use the Blade. So in the begining stand were you are and let the virus hit you as many times. Let him hit you, but don't let him kill you.
