how do i get a deleted file back?

Hey I was trying to connect the legend of zelda orcale of ages and the orcale seasons to see if I could switch iteams from the 2 games and I pluged in one side of the cord upside down and the game boy color that the legend of zelda orcale of ages suddenly turned of and when I turned it back on my file that I was useing some how got deleted, so now I want to know how to get the file back or if I can?

Ouch, You can't, unless you have it saved to an extra memory drive, Sorry but you have to start a new one.

You corupted the file. If you put it near electricity, pulsing, or give it the wrong electricity hookup direction (putting the cable upside down) might screw up, corrupt, or completly erase files, In the bad cases it will make the game un-playable. Some times but uncommonly you can save a corrupt game. But in that case if it's erased there is no way to get it. Cause I have tried hacks, professional recovery disc's. Will not work.
