First you have to beat Witney then there is two houses beside the gym.in one of the houses there is a lady who will give you a water bottle.then you go to the tree and press the a button then it will say do you want to use the water bottle say yes and you will battle the dancing tree "sudowoodo" it's a pokemon

To get past suddawodo you need to toss water on it and you can try to catch it

Beat the gym leader Whitney, then talk to the girl by the dancing tree, then go back to her house in Goldenrod City and talk to her sister to get the Watering Can. Use that on the dancing tree, and you'll see.
