In Pokemon silver where is growlith and where do you get fire stone

ANSWERS

Growlithe cannot be found in Pokemon Silver. It can only be obtained by Trade.

You can get a fire stone from Bill's Grandfather. One of the Pokemon he will ask to see is Vulpix. Show him a Vulpix when he asks to see it, and he will give you a fire stone.

Growlithe does not show up at all in Silver, only in Gold and Crystal. You get Vulpix, instead. Fire stone can only be obtained through Mystery Gift, or you can get one (and only one per playthrough) from Bill's grandfather, north of Cerulean City, by showing him a bunch of Pokemon he'd like to see. He's senile, but he'll give you a bunch of elemental stones (one of each) for showing him his favorite Pokemon.
