How exactly do you enter in the cheat code? i cant figure out how to bring up the screen to enter the cheat code on a gameboy color

How you bring up a Cheat entry box depends on the Cheat device you are using.
If you are using a Gameshark:
1. Insert game cartridge into gameshark.
2. Insert the Gameshark into game boy color game pack slot.
3. Turn power on gameshark (if applicable)
4. Turn power on (Gameboy color)
Some gamesharks come with codes already programmed in, if so, you should see a list of them. if not, you should only see "enter code" or "new code/cheat"
select either and then enter the code you desire.
any other cheat cartridge Im not sure about.
