Can you clone rare candies?

You can only clone on Gold and Silver.

Yeah, what you do is talk to the guy in Viridian city that wouldnt let you past because he hadnt had his coffee he asks you a question answer NO.

He will show you how to catch a Weedle. Then fly to Cinnibar Island and go to the East Coast, then put rare candy 6th in your item list, then use surf. BUT! Surf up & down where you are on half land half water. You will encounter a Pokemon called Missingno.

Or any Pokemon but they will be over L.100 or they will be L.0. Run away then check youre rare candy! There will be a 'scratchy' kind of image there keep using them just because it says the image then 1 does not mean you have none left!

If you put a rare candy in the sixth spot in your items list then go and listen to the dude in Vermilion he "just had his coffie" the fly back to Cinibar Island and swim along the right side of the gym. Half on land, half on water you just surf till you find the Mising No. Just run from him! Then go on land and look in you items and you'll have a lot. The same works with the nugget

You must be talking about the missigno cheat. Here you go:

1. Put the item you want to duplicate in 6th position in your pack.
2. Fly to Viridian city, talk to the coffee guy, and say your not in a hurry, watch him catch the Pokemon.
3. Fly to Cinnabar island, and surf on the east coast of the island, so that you are half on land, half on water.
4. When you encounter missigno, beat it, run, or, if you want to risk it, catch it (but sometimes catching it can ruin your game).
5. When you finish the battle, you will see this weird symbol after the item in 6th position in your pack, thisd means there is about 130 of it.
