Which Pokemon is better...hitmonlee or hitmonchan? Because I just beat the saffron city gym leader n hes givin me a choice between the two

I wouldnt say that either is better, they both have their strengths. Hitmonchan can learn things like Fire Punch so if you want a Pokemon that knows Moves outside it's type go with him. Hitmonlee is good too though. If like me you can't decide, try Iny Miny Miney Moe.

That's only in old versions. But I think Hitmonlee is better.

Pick either, they're both bad. I've forgotten the cave, but you can get a Tyrogue of a Karate bloke in there. The Tyrogue will evolve into Hitmontop.

I think Hitmonlee is better because you can chain breed it mach punch.

i like both. hitmonlee can deal some good damage, hitmonchan has higher defense so he can last longer

they both have their ups and down but if you would want someone equal i would say go with hitmontop

Hitmonchan because it can learn a variety of moves (Fire/Ice/Thunder)Punch.

I would go hitmonchan cauze of the different punches like ice punch ect then use the punch that the foe is bad against

Hitmontop because technician stab triple kick has 135 base power and he is more bulky than the other 2

Neither are better than the other. I have the strategy guides and it lists bullets for stats and they are the exact same. Hitmontop on the other hand is a little better than both of them. It would be easier to just breed a tyrouge and try to get him.

Hitmonlee or hitmonchan are good because you could make an egg to get hitmontop ,hitmonlee or hitmonchan only if your luccky though our have items that increase stas permantly

Hitmnlee is way better.

ItÂ´s true that hitmonchan can learn a wariety of punches (ice, fire, lightning), but the problem is that he has such low special attack stats that he will do very little damage with any of them. If you want to use fire/ice/electricity attacks you should use pokemons which have high special attack and that pretty much rules out any fighting type pokemn.

Hitmonlee on the other hand has very high attack stats AND uses only physical abillities which mean his attacks will deal far greater damage. He can't be used against as wide a variety of types as hitmonchan but on the other hand heÂ´s actually good at what heÂ´s doing.

Hitmonlee is better because it looks cooler and it has a high attack, hitmonchan has low attak and looks like a girl, hitmontop is strong to but it looks dumb

Breed any
If you have same defense and attack you most likely got a hitmontop but if it's attack is way higher then it's defense then you got a hitmonlee and to get hitmonchan it's attack has to be lower then it's defense.
