What is PokeRus?

PokeRus is a special cirus that you have an 8156 chance or so of contracting after a Pokemon battle. PokeRus causes your Pokemon to gain extra Exp. Points in battle, and can be spearded throughout your party onto other Pokemon. PokeRus generally wears off in 2-4 days, unless you put the infected Pokemon in the PC, which will preserve the virus, and the virus will then never go away. But once you tak the Pokemon back out, the countdown starts again. An infected Pokemon's exp. Points may quadruple as a result of PokeRus. After the virus wears off, then your Pokemon will become immune to the virus. This is ideantifiable by a little dot that appears next to the exp. Bar (or was it the health bar?) at that Pokemon's status screen. If you take an infected Pokemon to the Pokemon canter, the nurse there will say that you Pokemon is covered in bugs and such. Anyway, it's a good virus, but it cannot be cured in any way until it wears off.

it doubles the amount of stat experience (not regular experience) a pokemon gets. stat experience is basically what rises when you eat vitamins, or when you train your pokemon instead of rare candying it. so when you fight lots of battles with pokerus, you get higher stat gains per level up than you would if you hadn't had pokerus (which is in turn more than you would have if you just gave it a rare candy).

The Pokerus is a virus that helps train your Pokemon and lets them grow extremely well. If you get the Pokerus you are very lucky. The only way to get the Pokerus is that you fight a wild Pokemon holding the Pokerus and when you defeat it and go to the next Pokemon centre, and it will go into a dialouge saying that your Pokemon has the Pokerus. You can catch it as well by catching the Pokemon with the Pokerus and keeping it in your party.

PokeRUS is a virus that you can get off a wild Yanma when they aren't swarming(the are very rare when they aren't swarming) on Route 35.

If one Pokemon has it, it will spread to the other Pokemon in your party.

What PokeRUS does is that every time an infected Pokemon gains a level, the Status change will go up higher, not the EXP.

Points. Like a Jolteon's Speed will go from 127 to 131 instead of it going from 127 to 129.

It lasts about 5-9 days, and a cured Pokemon will have a black dot by the EXP Bar which means it can't get infected or give it to other Pokemon.
