Did you beat Falkner and talk to Elm's aide in the Pokemon Center?

Beat the gym and then talk to the aid (Pokemon Center).

Once prof. Elm calls and you give him the egg go to the violet city gym and win. He will then call you again. Go to the Pokecentre and a guy with a white coat and glasses is there, talk to him he gives you it back. It is a Togipi by the way.

When you have thrashed falkner,go to the Pokemon centre in Voilet city,elm will phone you anyway to inform you to receive the egg from his assistant,it will hatch into a togepi,also it has rubbish moves,the only one thats good is metronome,any more problems just post! :D
