Question for Pokemon Crystal

Can Somone please help me? I can't get to Cinnabar Island or Pewter City. Is there some road I didn't see or what?

From Vermilion, go throught Diglett's cave.Go North for Pewter City. And for Cinnabar, go south. Surf down from Pallet and you'll end up at Cinnabar.

Yes I had problems with this too. Go to the Gym in Curulean after the battle with the Rocket Grunt when you entered the cape. The first square of the Gym has the Machine Part he stole. Get it and go to the Power Plant and talk to the Manager. He will get the power in Kanto up and running. Now go to the Radio Tower and some guy will give you an EXPN card. Get it and go to Vermillion City. Go right and go and walk up to Snorlax and press A. It will say you play the Pokeflute Channel and he will wake up and battle him. I would reccomend catching him. Now you have access to Pewter City, Viridian City, Pallet Town, Cinnibar Island, and all the routes in between them.

Say 'Diglett's Cave' to yourself, then be off to that very place and travel through it.

To get to pewter city go through diglett cave and cut down the tree and go up
To get to cinnabar island go to pallet town and surf down and you should get there.
