After you talk to the gym leader go to the Beach and surf south down route 40 and 41 till you see an island. You'll find yourself in Cianwood City. So into the pharmacy there and talk to the guy, he'll give you the medicine. Hope this helps you out.

Rare candy cheat code ruind my games unless theres a cheat code for the medicine
