First, jump up to the balcony in the hotel place go to the left corner of the doors, charge up a light dash, the doors will open walk inside and get the ring!

This isn't really a hint but it's kind of weird(and weird's my middle name). On the first action action stage on the Egg Carrier,keep walking around and you will see a tank and it will say Shadow on it. It's best to use Knuckles. This might not work as my friend told me and sometimes I don't believe him.

In the first adventure place go to the next part off the town you will see in a window a golden egg.

If you take it from the shop the door will lock so you you will have to find a rock in the grass part in that part of the town.

If you find it replace the egg with the rock and take it to the chao garden when you hatch it it will be a golden chao.

If you can't find the golden chao egg or the rock.

how to get sonic's cristil ring:go into the hotel.go up the stairs.then store up power and hold x or b.now here's the tricky part.press the two buttons and quikly charge at the ring as fast as you can our the door close.now get the cristil ring to make you power up faster.then press the button and the door will open and you have got the cristil ring.

Starting Out:
Find a Chao egg. You can create the Light Chao from any color egg.

Next Step: Have It Reborn

The quickest way to do this is to feed it LifeNuts, which you receive in the
VMU. The best way I did this was I put the baby Chao in the VMU. I played the
matching game on the VMU, eating all other fruit but LifeNuts.

NOTE: I have had trouble with Chao not mating because they are not "strong"
enough. I raise the stats of my Chao to around 80, but I don't know the
minimum. I recommend raising its stats before you start its mating.

Once the stats of the Chao are high enough and it has five or six uneaten
LifeNuts, I send it back into the Garden. I fed the LifeNuts to my future
Light Chao one-at-a-time. Each time flowers pop up around the Chao, it is
ready to mate. Bring another adult Chao to it and they will mate, making an
egg pop out of the ground. Repeat this process(about 5 or 6 times) until the
Chao is reborn.

NOTE: If the Chao falls asleep after eating a LifeNut, let it sleep. It will
wake up in about five minutes.

During the rebirth, a white cocoon forms around the Chao(the same one that
forms when it evolves or dies). When the cocoon goes away, it is an egg again.
Hatch this egg.

NOTE: Often it will evolve once before being reborn again. You will know this
is happening because a Chao will pop out of the white cocoon instead of an egg.
Don't worry, this is normal. Keep feeding it LifeNuts until it is reborn.



Next Step: Have It Reborn Again

This works the same way: raise its stats, give it a bunch of LifeNuts, mate it,
rehatch it.



Next Step: Feed It A ChaoNut

This step is very important, but often missed. Feed it one ChaoNut(from the
VMU, won in the matching game) in the garden. It looks like a large blue
turnip.


Next Step: Give it ALL 15 Animals.

Now comes the fun part! Give the Chao one of each animal. You can use any
characters you like to get these animals, but this is how I do it:

Knuckles: Go to Sky Deck to get the skunk.
Go to Red Mountain to get the mole, parrot, elephant, gorilla, and
lion.
Go back to the garden to use these 6 animals.
Go to Casinopolis to get the swallow(bluebird) and the peacock(green
bird).
Go to Speed Highway to get the kangaroo and the deer.
Go back to the garden to use these 4 anumals.
Sonic: Go to Emerald Coast to get the koala, rabbit, fish, penguin, and
seal.
Go back to the garden to use these 5 animals.


Next Step: Let It EVOLVE!

This takes about five or ten minutes. While you wait, you might as well feed
it some coconuts from the trees, as this apparently speeds up the process.
Eventually, it should form that white cloud and evolve into a Light Chao.
Notice that the white cloud has sparks shooting out of it. Congratulations,
you have breeded yourself a Light Chao!

To get a chao that looks like Sonic, Collect between 10-20 green animals(deer, rabbit, kangaroo) in the action stages and give them to your chao.



Be sure to feed him! After a while, your chao will start to look like sonic. After it cocoons it will look A LOT like sonic.



Hint: If you use mostly deer and kangaroos the chao won't have those silly looking rabbit ears and will have small ears kind of like Sonic's.

Use the second controller to play as TAILS. TAILS cannot get special stuff, only rings. Use SONIC for the rest.
