- Features Not Carried Over in NG+
- Money (Gil)
Not everything is carried over when starting a New Game Plus playthrough. Listed below are the things that are not carried over or are reset.
- Key Items
- Extra Accessory and Materia Slots

When you play New Game Plus you will have an opportunity to play through the game again and clear the side missions you may have missed during your previous playthrough. Keep in mind that many of the high-level missions will reward you with powerful accessories such as the Genji equipment when you successfully complete them.
Completing a New Game Plus run will unlock NG++ which enables you to play through the story again allowing you to aim for 100% completion (Platinum trophy). In NG++ no new features are unlocked.
