Operation Dark Quarry

Note: Take along your Type-2 Weapon. It's one of the best Weapons for this mission.

This is, environmentally speaking, the most memorable mission in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. You're literally going to land on a rogue asteroid that's been mysteriously pushed out of orbit and is now wildly lingering extremely close to the sun - in 'daylight', which lasts only a few seconds, 900 degrees Celsius are no exception.

Your mission is to look for any survivors in the base on this asteroid. Move out of the vehicle and wait for the sun to disappear, then make a run for it to the next building. Walk to the end to find the distress signal.

Make your way to the next building ASAP. Go through the door and search the left side of the area for an armory.

Kashima will give you a Weapon, although you can switch back to your old one if you wish. Continue until you reach a downed bot; inspect it.

Head through the door and go past the passive worker bots. At the end you'll have to face some; destroy them before they can get close to you, as two of their melee punches will knock you out completely. Continue through the door, clear a few more bots, then move to the other side when the sun is down. A lot of bots will come at you when you hack the nearby door; destroy them, then go through the door when its lock is opened.

Continue through the halls until you reach a room with a large window. Enjoy the scenery, then proceed and head downstairs. At the end of the hall you'll reach an area with a lot of bots, including a sniper. Use the nearby hacking devices to take control of a few bots, then clear the rest of them yourself.

Head upstairs and you'll have reached your objective. Proceed, defeat several more bots and enter the ship.
