Follow Reyes outside and enter the ship at the end of the walkway. After the cutscene, immediately kill the two soldiers approaching your ship and take cover in the main area. You start out with only a handgun, so quickly down a few of your opponents and loot them to obtain a stronger Weapon.

Note: You can also find two powerful Weapons right at the beginning by looting the two enemies you've downed, the ones who climbed your ship. They hold the Karma-45 Weapon and the Volk weapon.

Clear the hall, take out the enemies upstairs and then go up yourself, making your way through the hall on the left.

Head outside, go downstairs and through the gate. Reyes will hand you a grenade, so use it on the enemies below. Directly after this moment, check the floor of the streets to find the KBAR-32 Weapon.

Note: You can also find the EMC pistol (randomly) on enemies you kill down below, as long as they're injured, crouching and shooting at you with their pistol. Defeat them in that state and collect the pistol from them.

Continue to the right and take out enemies as you go; don't hesitate to use frag grenades on them, considering you'll find some along the way.

Go down the street with the wrecked cars and continue to take out the enemies up ahead; use the cars for over. In the square up ahead, quickly enter the building across (11 'o clock) and kill the soldiers here. After that, clear the area - there are a few more hostiles behind the barricades nearby, outside.

Continue down the street, head downstairs and watch the havoc at the lake. Head past the crashed cruise ship and take out the enemies at the end of the street, then go up the steps on the right. There are a lot of enemies in this next area, so quickly enter the building on the left and take out the hostiles inside. Proceed through this relatively safe zone to get closer to the enemies up ahead, allowing for easier takeouts. After taking out the enemies behind the small market stands, enter the bookstore and continue through the offices, the through the alley (and have Ethan help you over).

Continue after the ship crashes and follow your crew upstairs and through the alleys. A bot will attack you; melee it and shoot the second one, then continue through the next alley until you reach a town square.

There are frag grenades and seekers near the cover edge on the right, so spam these on the bots down below and shoot the weakened ones after you do so.

Proceed and head down in the next street, entering the building on the left. Immediately kill the two soldiers inside and continue. A bot will hop over the railing; shoot it. More enemies are located down below, so hurl your seekers and frag grenades at them, shooting any survivors afterwards. Hurl some grenades at the first floor of the burning building and kill any remaining soldiers.

Head through the door at the end of the street and clear the building with grenades. Take the Hacking Device from Ethan and use it on one of the bot. Controlling it, use it to destroy the others. From now on you can use these devices.

At the end of the street, remove the beam from the building and go through the building. Grab some seekers along the way. Back outside, run forwards and take cover every now and then. Us the up button on the directional pad to mark groups of enemies or gunships to have your own gunship destroy them - it's essentially free air support.

When you get to the top of the hill, clear the area and go inside the building. There is another large group of enemies in the square up ahead so call in air support to wipe them out. Head into the next building, go through the hall and unlock the double doors, quickly killing the soldiers in slow motion, then hit the button at the terminal.

After the scenes, enter your ship and head to space. Here your mission is essentially to destroy all enemy ships. Lock onto them and kill them one by one. If there are missiles incoming, use L1 to ignite flares buzzing them off. Land on the Retribution afterwards... and then another sequence starts; shoot the enemy cruiser. The game essentially automatically steers your ship during this part, so you don't have to worry about that. Land your ship to finish the mission.
