2. Typing of the Dead: Overkill

There's nothing better to lighten up a horror game by making it into a typing tutor. Typing of the Dead originally started on the Dreamcast, wherein a bunch of people with Dreamcasts strapped to their backs and keyboards sitting on their chests typing out ridiculous statements in order to fight off the zombie horde.

Typing of the Dead: Overkill is a re-release of the game on Steam, making the game far more available to gamers than the original Dreamcast version. There's even DLC available to make you type even more absurd things than the norm! As if the base set of odd phrases involving donkeys wasn't enough.

Given the game's ridiculous mechanics, it takes what was originally a horror series and flips it on its head, keeping the zombie apocalypse while diffusing any actual horror concepts to the game at all. Overkill is a fantastic parody, at the least!
