Upgrades
Purchase acceleration and top speed upgrades as soon as you can afford them as these are what can give you the edge in harder challenges. It will also allow you to level up and advance faster as opposed to upgrading evenly which more often then not will cause you to lose challenges to faster opponents. Each upgrade will increase your CC score.
