So, basically I have a sim, on the 3DS with a really nice house. Only, when she walks into the living area she gets the 'unfinished room' moodlet. The room has a carpet so I assume the walls are the issue, (they're just plain white like when you place them because I built the house myself) I've tried putting paintings up over the walls but it bas no effect...
How do I add wallpaper?

Go to build mode and on the wall selection there is a paper peeling off click on that and thats the wallpaper
Go to build (the place where you built the walls and put the floor in) and select the thing peeling off the wall option. That is wallpaper and it will help you get rid of the unfinished room moodite. Also, if some of your rooms don't have a door, they just have an opening in the wall to mark the spot where you can enter + exit, you will get the unfinished room moodite as well. To fix this go back to build and wall up the gap. Dont forget the wallpaper! Put a door in and the problem will be solved!
