Replay Scenes

Objects in a scene will not move so try to remember where things are so you know what areas to tap when you replay a scene.

Hints

Study the hints available to you the first time you play a new scene as they will give you insight as to where things are.

Unused Hints

Try avoid using hints after your first playthrough of a scene as unused hints will add to your overall score at the end.

Easy Points

Use a character which has plenty of hints when you have a crime scene almost entirely memorised as doing so can gain you plenty of easy points.

Distinctive Items

When a scene has loaded you are given a few seconds to study it before the timer begins, make sure you use that time to try and spot distinctive items.

More Points

If you tap on multiple correct items in a row quickly you will increase your combo and get more points. Take advantage of this whenever possible by trying to spot a few items and then tapping on them in quick succession.

Zoom

Don't forget to zoom in when you are looking for objects as it will make them easier to find. Objects that are grayed out do not appear in the scene.

Easy Stars

If you work fast and memorise the scenes you can always earn easy stars by doing the timer based stages as they always give a steady stream of objects to find.

Analyse Objects

Analyse objects as soon as possible so you do not waste time as some of them can take hours to scan.

Bucks

Resist the temptation of wasting bucks to speed up wait timers, just be patient and use the time while you are waiting to gain stars so you can spend them on boosters like the Sloth Slowdown, the Tiger Tracker, and the Cheetah's Charge to help you tail and outfox suspects, and crack cases.
