To purchase the chests in ZombsRoyale.io which allow you to obtain new emotes, skins, and even parachutes you must earn gold. There are four different ways in which you can earn gold.

Gameplay

You will earn gold the higher up the leaderboard you finish. Finishing in the top spots will also unlock items as a reward and increase your season tier.

Daily Challenges

Completing the set of daily challenges you are given will enable you to unlock gold and sometimes items as a reward. These daily challenges are straight forward, and you should prioritize them early in order to get the rewards they offer.

Free Rewards

Every 3 hours that you play ZombsRoyale.io will grant you a free reward. It is important to remember that these rewards to not stack so if you leave the game before hitting the 3-hour mark you will miss out on it. The free reward will be a chest which will usually contain gold.

Seasons

As you become more proficient at the game your reputation will start to increase which will cause your season tier to rise. Once this happens you will start unlocking gold and rare items such as sought after skins.
