Introduction

Okay i've been playing this game long enough to write a review. If you like a game that's somewhat hard to beat, kinda like an RPG,and it takes a while unless you use cheatcodes I reccomend this game. I also believe that if you like yu gi oh that you don't want to pass up game. This one of my favorite yu gi oh games.

Graphics

The graphics for this game aren't too shabby considering it's a card battling game. The characters all look exactly like they do in the tv series. The cards also look pretty good. The talking character graphics are okay too. The only thing this game is missing is the fields, like if your dueling in a forest field it's just green. I wish they made you feel like you were in an actual forest. Not to shabby for a card battling/GBA game.

Sound

The sounds in this game were kinda cool. Like when you were dueling like a ghoul it had evil sounding music. If you were dueling a random duelist the music wasn't as strong. When the monsters wer fighting the sound was lame you just heard a slash and you're done. Pretty lame. They should've had different sounds for different monsters. At the end though the sounds wer very repettive.

Gameplay

The gameplay was pretty good. The duels seemed realistic. Although most of the effects were very different than the cards in the english game. The you have to talk to this guy to do this was LAME!I really hated that about this game. The gameplay also followed the story line of battlecity almost exactly which is a big plus. The minus though is that it takes until like beating all the ghouls and Magnum before you can have a really good deck.

Lastability

Well for me this game has lasted me a long time. I got like 3 years ago ansd I still enjoy it. I love playing through the storyline and using my deck and changing it as I get more Deck capacity and Duelist level. I think this game though can become tiresome as well. The fact is none of the duelists in the begginning are a challenge. So you have to wait until the end to have the fun duels.

Overall

Well this is the end of my review. I have enjoyed this game alot. I think it is one of the better yu gi oh games because you can't just all of sudden make a great deck. It takes time to get good. Which I like a lot. That also helps the lastability. The storyline of this game is just plain awesome. If you like yu gi oh you've got to get this game.
