Yoshi's Crafted World is a side-scrolling three-dimensional platformer where you play the role of Yoshi, a cute dinosaur-like creature known from the Mario franchise. Cheats, Tips and Strategy

Repeat Levels

To get everything you will very likely have to repeat some levels multiple times. There will be items you will miss and once you reach certain points in a level you will not be able to return which means you will not be able to collect it in that run of the level and will need to start it over to get another shot at it.

Costume Protection

If you make sure your Yoshi is always wearing a costume you find it will help him easily overcome some of the challenges. Costumes are not just cosmetic, they also help protect Yoshi from danger by enabling him to handle more damage from enemies and bosses. The rarer the costume the more damage it will be able to take.

Destroy Multiple Objects

If you hold B down so your fist glows yellow you will be able to use it to destroy multiple objects at once or reach far away objects as your punch will go further.

Move Quickly

The most effective way of making the Yoshi mech move quickly is to use short, quick jabs. This is the best way to reach a box before it flies away.

White Cardboard Object

Make sure you destroy the white cardboard object that hangs from the sky whenever you see it as it is worth 500 points. The easiest way to hit it is to jump up and do a quick jab.

Pay Attention to the Background

You will find that most of the things you miss are not on the main road. Keeping an eye on your surrounding will help you to catch these things the first time you play a level. Especially things like the gift boxes which will give you coins.

Alternate Path Solutions

Alternate paths tend to have one of three simple solutions. This can be bringing an item such as a bomb or magnet from a later or earlier part there, something in the background is important or simply moving an object, like a cart to a different location. There is no puzzle apart from the timed ones that has a solution you will not be able to solve in that room.

Trigger Collectables

There are more than a few collectables that although are not hidden will require you to do something to trigger them. This tends to be either going to a certain spot or smacking an object.

Mellow Mode

If you are struggling with the game you may want to consider switching to Mellow mode which will give you infinite flutter jumps and a better ability to take damage. Mellow mode will also notify you when a Smiley Flower is nearby, and reveal all invisible ? clouds.

Play with a Friend

Yoshi's Crafted World has co-op which enables you to play with a second Yoshi in the room at any time. Playing with a friend will make the game easier as your friend will have all the same abilities you do. They will be able to help you defeat enemies, continue even if you are defeated, ensure you have enough eggs with you to find secrets, and help you find hidden areas.
