Remember that if you so happen to run into a roving street gang that is a much higher level than Kasuga they will more than likely defeat him. When this happens the street gang will take half of Kasuga's money. When you consider that the Auto-Save in Yakuza: Like a Dragon is only triggered when Kasuga has been beaten you realise the importance of manually saving often as you progress through the game.
