Although Yakuza: Like a Dragon has an Auto-Save system it is recommended that you do manual saves before big expenditures in order to reload your game if things go wrong. For example, the Ounabara Vocational School which you can access from Chapter 4 has a Trivia test which costs ¥100,000 to take which will enable you to quickly level up your social stats. If you mess it up and you have saved the game you can simply reload your game and take the test again and save ¥100,000.
