Bonds are the progression levels for each one of your party members in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and it is important that you continually level them up so they have the maximum Bond level with Kasuga. To raise the Bond level of your allies you need to sit down and have a chat with them over a drink at your hideout Survive Bar. Frequently visiting the Survive Bar will also enable you to find out more about each character's backstory and earn them more XP when they are not fighting with you. Activities that increase Bonds include karaoke, dining, party chat, Seagull Cinema, Cabarets, and gifts.
