It is essential that between missions you make sure you visit Basil's Factory in Elsinore in order to upgrade your party's stats and elemental affinities to allow them to equip stronger Ragnite using Ragnite gems and select new R&D Projects that give you new guns and grenades. You will need Ragnite gems and KR when you visit Basel's Factory, both of which can be earned in battle. You can make additional KR by selling any gear or equipment that you don't plan on using.
