Take a look at our Tropico 6 Walkthrough and Guide to get additional help in the game. This includes a guide on the different types of raids, a World Wonders guide, and how to move goods by building a Teamster Port and surrounding it with industrial facilities to easily exchange goods across the archipelago.
To get the Promising Endeavors achievement/trophy you must perform 500 raids across all games. The easiest way to do this is when you are completing missions as several of them require you to construct one of the buildings for raiding (Pirate Cove, Commando Garrison, Spy Academy or Cyber Operations Centre). It is recommended that you build the Pirate Cove as this takes place during Colonial times which is an earlier time period.
Once the Pirate Cove is constructed select one of the raids to 'Add to queue and set to repeat' by pressing Y on your Xbox controller (Triangle on PlayStation controller) when choosing the raid. If you set treasure hunt raids or loot raids to repeat they will bring in blueprints, money and goods to your island, which is more helpful early in game.
To get the My Ways achievement/trophy you must end 50 protests by force or by bribing the protesters across all games. The easiest way to do this without rebooting or reloading 50 times is to build a decent size city that has 300 plus people. Then use the Quick Build action to construct 60-70 oil-rigs and industrial buildings (they do not have to be attached to the road). When the Environmental faction give an ultimatum. Deny it. This will result in protests at every single one of your industrial buildings, the protesters will even return after being bribed.
One of the first structures you should build in Tropico 6 when starting your nation is the Pirate Cove. As soon as it is built you should immediately set out on a heist to steal the Registan of Samarkand in order to instantly give all the children of Tropico the equivalent of a high school education. This will give your economy a substantial boost as it will enable a huge percentage of the population to immediately enter the workforce without spending years attending school. The Pirate Cove can also supplement your economy with workers, resources, and some extra money by setting it to repeat raids such as 'rescuing' people to join your nation, acquiring gold, and going on treasure hunts.
Teamsters are the guys that deliver goods to factories, move supplies, and pick up exports. It is essential that you keep them happy because without efficient Teamsters your entire economy will shut down. The more Teamsters you have the smoother your economy will run, just make sure you max out their pay and place them close to housing and other service buildings, so they have more time to work. Upgrade Teamsters whenever possible in order to open more job slots.
