Guns
More often than not guns are not the best weapons to use unless they have a suppressor and even then if you miss pulling off a headshot the noise could attract a passing horde of zombies. You will find that having a sturdy melee weapon will serve you better in most circumstances. You may also want to pack a shotgun for emergencies but remember that it will only have a few shots.
