Defensive Formation
The success of your defense will be based on what formation you selected so it is extremely important that you go with one that is capable of stopping your opponent. A rule of thumb with picking a formation is to match the number of linebackers with the number of runningbacks and tight ends in your opponent's formation. If however your opponent is run orientated you may want to consider using an additional linebacker to help stop the run, or if they are pass orientated use one less linebacker to make defending the pass easier.
