Fury Unleashed is a combo-driven rougelite action platformer where you shoot your way through the pages of an ever-changing comic book. You play the role of a comic book character tasked with eliminating all chaos from the pages. However, layered on top of this is the story of the comic's struggling creator, who is dealing with declining sales and criticism from readers and the internet's lowest form of life: professional critics. Switch Difficulty Settings In-Game

Fury Unleashed is full of brutal enemies and rare health drops and the liklihood is you will find yourself struggling to begin with. You can however play the game on the Easy difficulty setting to make things simpler while you become familiar with the game and still earn the same approximate amount of experience. You can switch between Easy and Hard modes at any time without losing in-game progress. The only downside to doing this is it will reflext in your leaderboard stats and you will not be able to unlock certain in-game achievements.

Take Advantage of the Skill Point System

As you progress in Fury Unleashed you will find that the skills you want to invest your points in will increase in cost. Take advantage of the Skill Point System by not sitting on your points waiting to get the amount needed for the skill you ideally want but instead spend them on literally anything and then decrease the level after that mission and get the points back for free. Take advantage of this until you can get the skills you really want.

Build Around Combos

As you would expect from a combo-driven rougelite it is essential that you build everything you do around combos. Not only will combos give you more Experience and increase your score you will also earn a free hit for every five kills you perform in a row without taking damage. You will be able to stack up three of these and it will not prevent you from flawlessly defeating a boss or having a damage cap. Try to earn as many free hits as you can as it will help to make the game more manageable when things get really tough.

Don't Attack Every Enemy you Encounter

Most of the damage you receive in Fury Unleashed will come from too many fights. Unless it is essential that you maintain your combo or want to maximise every point possible to get a new record it will sometimes be in your best interest to not engage in combat with the enemy. Most of the annoying enemies that you encounter can be ignored and it will have little to no impact on your run.

Select Weapons According to your Situation

Although your character may have a favorite weapon you feel comfortable using it is important in Fury Unleased if you want to be successful that you choose weapons according to their range and capabilities that will help you the most in your given situation. Doing so can substantially reduce the difficulty of some of the hardest sections in the game. If for example you need to deal with enemies from afar having a sniper rifle will make taking them down a lot easier.
