Class Mod Equipment Upgrades

These class specific upgrades that are sometimes refered to as COMs (Class Optimization Modules) can provide a variety of bonuses to the character (or the entire team) when they are equipped.

Athena

Blademaster:

Melee damage and critical damage.

Bloodthirster:

Melee damage and health regeneration.

Cannoness:

Shotgun fire rate and reload.

Celestial Gladiator:

Fire rate, Maximum health, and skill bonuses.

Defender:

Shield capacity.

Dominater:

Weapon Attachment Abilities

When you add the following attachments to your weapon you will gain the corresponding ability.

Bayonet:

Increases melee damage.

Boominator:

Increases grenade damage.

Fast Learner:

Bonus experience from kills.

Foregrip:

Increases stability.

Harden Up:

Improves maximum shields.

Higher Bullet Speed:

Faster bullets to improve long-range performance.

Higher Damage:

Increases base damage of weapon.

Improved Accuracy:

Increases accuracy of weapon.

Increased Magazine Size:

Holds more bullets.

Oxygenator:

Damaging enemies will restore oxygen.

Piercing Rounds:

Chance to penetrate enemy shields.

Punisher:

Increased critical hit damage.

Reload Speed:

Lowers the time required to reload.

Safeguard:

Restores some shield capacity with each kill.

Serenity:

Reduces oxygen consumption rate.

Wild:

Creates a wider spray of bullets.

Benjamin Blue Reward

If you rescue the creature named Benjamin Blue from it's cage when you enter the left room on the lower left side of 'Research & Development' you will earn a reward. The video below will show you how it is done.

Easy 'Who Needs Air?' Achievement

You can get the 'Who Needs Air?' Achievement easily by going to Moxxi's bar and purchasing Squill Syrup, removing your O2 kit and sitting outside the bar in an air bubble for 5 minutes.


Quick Reloading

If you throw your weapon on the ground and then immediately pick it back up you will instantly reload it.

Moxxi's Bar

You can get temporary a buff to your character by going to Moxxi's Bar in Concordia and buying the drinks that are lined up on the counter. These cocktails cost 10 Moonstones each and are useful before a Boss battle.


Easy Moxxis Sampler Trophy

To buy ALL 8 drinks you need a total of 80 Moonstones (they do not have to be purchased all at the same time). If you quit to the Dashbaord and reload the game after the Achievement pops you will be able to save your 80 Moonstones. The video below will show you how it is done.
