Unlocking Chests

The various coloured chests that you will find scattered around the map require different things to unlock them. Gold chests require a link to Uplay, Blue chests require use of the companion app, red chests require lock picks, and white chests require nothing. The colour of the chests indicates what type of reward you would expect to find inside, for example you will find more loot in a locked red chest than you would in a white one.
