Introduction =============================================================================== =============================================================================== Hi y'all. This guide was made to help you (yes, YOU!) find all the money available during all those missions. If you've played this game past the first mission, you know what I'm talking about. But in case you haven't (why are you reading this guide already?), the money in this game is actually somewhat hard to come by. You can't sell anything, and you can't loot either (at least, not outside of missions). The only way to make money is to do missions, as a reward for completing it, and finding money during the mission. As far as I can tell, the reward given to you at the end of the mission is static. That is to say, you will always be given the same amount for that mission (rewards between missions vary however). And from my personal experience, the amount of money you find during that mission will usually be equal to the amount given to you as a reward. I don't know if that's actually how this was designed, or if it was just a coincidence on my game, but that's what I think. I will list here every instance of money, resource, or upgrade that I have found, in as much of a no nonsense way as I can. If you're looking for an actual walkthrough, there are already a few up there. Mine focuses on money. I will also try to keep it as spoiler-free as possible, but I may slip up once in a while. (+1000) - In the building after the cutscene, on the left side is a Wall Safe. (+2000) - After the following fight, go in the open building and go right. There's a Med Kit. (+100) - When in front of the huge gate, turn around and go in the path to the right of the steps you took down. There's salvage. (+1000) - Heading towards the gate from the last one, you'll see a Med Kit. (+100) - After the fight, in the building to the right of the area is a Med Kit. (+3000) - Next to the stairs to the north of that area is a damaged mech that will give you an upgrade. - Right next to it is an Iridium Container. (+100) - Moving forward a few steps, on your left is a picnic table with a datapad on it. (+6000) - When you jump down the ledge, in the house on your right is a datapad. (+4200) - Moving forward out of that house is a dead body in front of you for an upgrade. - In the next area, the house on the right has a Wall Safe. (+4800) - In the first house on the left in the same area is a Med Kit. (+100) - Next area, instead of going down the stairs in front, go up the stairs behind you. Inside, in the bed, is a computer. (+3000) - Back down all the stairs, to your right is a new heavy weapon. - When you trigger the cutscene, on your right is a small flight of stairs going up to a house. Go in. At the opposite end is a computer. (+3000) - Back to the open area where you had the fight, in the back left area is a house with a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Once the conversation's over, there's a Platinum Container next to the Weapons Locker. (+2000 Platinum) - Next to the NPC is a Med Kit. (+100) - Next to that is a Wall Safe. (+6000) - When the fight dies down, around the back of the left house is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Past the house on the right, there will be a dead body to your right with an upgrade. - At the gate, through either house, up to the second level, in the middle, is a computer. (+3000) - In the area after the gate, on your left between 2 houses is a Med Kit. (+100) - Back at the gate, on your right instead, next to the house is a Power Cells Container. (+7500) - A few steps more and you get up to a Med Kit. (+100) - After the cutscene, take a few steps forward and you got a Power Cells Container. (+100) - A few more steps and you have an Eezo Container. (+250) - As you go up the ramp, you'll come face to face with some salvage. (+15000) - Moving on, but before the second ramp, there's a terminal with an upgrade. - Once the fight on platforms is over, but before you head back down, on the far left platform is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - After jumping down the small ledge going down a ramp, there's a Med Kit in the room. (+100) - Down another ramp, to your left is more salvage. (+7500) - After your fight in that large confusing room, in the back of it (forward from where you entered it) is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Nearby is an Eezo Container. (+250 Eezo) - Right next to it is a Med Kit. (+100) - In the next large area (with the exit on the other side), at the base of the ramp on either side, turn around and follow the side of it for a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Once through the door, on your left will be more salvage. (+7500) - On the wall opposite the previous one is a terminal for an upgrade. (+100) - Carrying on until you hear gunshots, in the right nook, there's a Power Cells Container (+100) - Right next to it is a Platinum Container. (+2000 Platinum) - The terminal right next to it. (+3500) - Right next to that is a Rifle to scan for an upgrade - At the end of the open area with lots of explosives is a Med Kit. (+100) - On your way forward, you'll pass by a terminal on your right. (+3500) - After going down the small ramp but before going down the stairs, there's a Med Kit. (+250 Eezo) - As you pass the first barricade, there's a Med Station on the Wall. (+100) - Down the stairs, straight ahead is a Bank Terminal. (+5000) - Through the door next to the terminal, on the left is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - If you let the NPC die, he has a datapad. (+2000) - Bypass the door on the right, go down. There's a Wall Safe on your right. (+4000) - At the large open area, go up the stairs to your left. There are Circuit Boards to salvage. (+1000) - Next to it is a Med Kit. (+100) - When you manage to get behind the barricade, turn around and go through the locked door (Bypass). There's a Med Kit slightly to the right in the room. (+100) - Up the small stairs in that room is a Wall Safe. (+4000) - Back past the barricade is an Assault Rifle for an Upgrade. - Once all that fighting is done, go through the door on the left side. (+100) - In the room OPPOSITE the professor's, on your left is a Platinum Container. (+2000 Platinum) - A bit further towards the back of the room is a Med Kit. (+100) - In the back of the room is a Palladium Container. (+2000 Palladium) - Next to it is a research station for an upgrade. - Right before leaving the clinic, on your right is a Med Station. (+100) - In the back of the large room, towards the stairs going up, is a Med Kit. (+100) - On the left before going up the stairs is a Gambling Terminal. (+3000) - After going up those stairs, on the right is a Bank Terminal. (+5000) - At the 2 doors, go in the left one for a cutscene and a Med Kit. (+100) - Down the stairs, through the large area, in the corridor, to the right are Spare Parts to salvage. (+1000) - Next to it is a Med Kit. (+100) - Inside the Right alcove, to your right on your way out is a Med Kit. (+100) - There's also one inside the Left alcove. ('Protection' Money Accounts). (+6000) - Behind a door on your right that you need to bypass, on the wall behind you is a Med Station. (+4000) - Back outside, to your right is another room. At the end on the right side is a Med Station. (+4500) - In the passage to the next area, there's a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Next to it is a Med Station. (+100) - Still next to those is a dead prison guard. About half way down that path, on your right, will be a medical station. (+100) - From the medical station, go down the stairs. There is a Heavy Pistol Upgrade there. - Continue forward. On the opposite side of the ramp going down from the high path, there is a Iridium Container. (+400 Iridium) - Proceeding into the ruins, there will be a Damaged Geth Hunter to loot. You can't miss it. (+6000) - Right next to it, there's the Tempest SMG. (+100) - Once through the door at the top, turn the corner, another door and straight ahead is some salvage. (+3000) - To the left of it, up the low ledge is an Iridium Container. (+500 Iridium) - In the room across, on your right is a terminal for an upgrade. - In the next corridor, room on your right, datapad on the floor. (+1500) - Once on the walkways, to your right, ignore the bridge. There's salvage. (+4500) - Across the bridge, slightly to the right is a Med Station. (+100) - At the end of the walkway, before going down stairs, is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Down the stairs, straight ahead, in the room to your right, is a locked crate. (+3000) - When you go down the stairs, straight ahead is a terminal for an upgrade. - After the discussion, stay. Behind the screen is a computer to hack. There's a dead body for an upgrade. - Continuing backwards into the large container, there is a terminal. (+3000) - Go across the next conveyor belt then go backwards into the large container for a dead body. (+3000) - Proceed forward and enter the next container on your right. There's an Eezo Container. (+500 Eezo) - Move forward a bit more and before going to the right, straight ahead is a terminal. (+3000) - To the left of the elevator is a Med Station. (+100) - A bit further back from the elevator is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - After the big fight after the elevator, on the right-most side, in a nook is a Med Kit. (+100) - Next to the following elevator is a terminal. (+100) - Further down is more salvage. (+1500) - Follow the path for a few steps, then turn towards the center, there's a pda. (+2100) - After leaving the village, following the path and finishing the fight, in the back right corner is more salvage. (+1500) - Close to it is a heavy pistol for an upgrade. - After the following path, you will come across a Med Station on your right. (+100) - In that same area but on the left is more salvage. (+1500) - Next to it is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - In the next open area, after the fight, right next to the door is a datapad. (+2400) - On the small platform just before the door is an Eezo Container. (+500 Eezo) Cerberus Funding: 15000 Credits Found: 15000 Total Credits Earned: 30000 ============================================ Krogan Loyalty Mission - When you get there, before pressing the button, there is salvage just to the right of it. (+3600) - There is also salvage to the left of it. (+3300) - From the center of the platform, there is a corpe to the right of it. (+1500) - To the left of it is a Med Kit. (+100) - Right next to it is another corpse. (+1800) - With your back to the switch, in front of you and a bit to your right is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Right next to it is a Med Kit. (+100) - Right next to that is a Platinum Container. (+2000 Platinum) - From the center of the platform, facing the switch, look left. There is a corpse right next to the stairs. (+1500) - Same as above, but to the right instead. There is another corpse. (+1200) - Go down the stairs next to it and follow the path around. You'll soon come across a Med Kit. (+100) - Right next to it is a Power Cells Container. (+100) This next section is unusual. After a few rounds, you will be brought to a new area for another fight. You have to go get the loot during the fight, because once it's over, you are forced to leave. So let your party handle the fight while you focus on the loot. - Facing the enemy group, to your right is a Med Kit. (+100) - Further ahead is another Med Kit. (+100) - Right next to it is a corpse. (+1200) - Behind the enemy line is a corpse. (+100) - Just past the red-lit area on your right, still to your right will be more Circuit Boards to salvage. (+900) - A few steps further and you got some more Circuit Boards. (+900) - When you reach the end of the path, you'll come across a Med Kit. (+100) - Right next to it is a Power Cells Container. (+100) - Right next to that is a laptop. Pit Fighting =============================================================================== =============================================================================== Thanks to Craig for reminding me. When you get to Tuchanka (and any subsequent visit), in the main area (with the chief), there is a pit to your right before you get to the Scout Leader. If you interact with the console there, you can place bets on which varren will win (Blue or Red). The bets are 250 credits. There is also a "secret". If you go to the merchant, do his discount request (the shooting mini-game) and he will have some meat to sell for 0 credits (wha?). Buy it, then go to the varren right next to him. After giving him the meat, he will like you and will start following you around. Once that's done, you can bring him to the pit fight and when you go place your bets, you will have 2 new voting options. you can either bet for or against your new pet, and each bet is worth 500 credits. Personally, he won his first 2 fights, then lost his 3rd. Craig only tried it twice, and he won both times. I don't know if it's scripted or random, or if getting him to fight a few times then leaving and coming back later resets it or something. I don't have the patience to mess around with it, and especially for only 500 credits a shot (or 250 with the regular fighters), I don't think it's worth spending too much time on it. (Additional info from Mike.) Urz just has a high % to win his fights he can win anywhere from 2 to up to 8 fights I've gotten him before he loses. The trick is to save before each fight if he loses reload if he wins save again. You do this till he loses 3 times from reload then you bet against him leave the planet come back and he's all healed up. His percentage to win lowers after each fight and resets after he heals up. So fight him ragged using saves and loads leave then come back... Importing a lvl 60 character from ME1: 50,000 credits Importing a save with the "Rich" achievement from ME1: 100,000 credits Having the "Long Service" achievement in ME2: 200,000 credits So if you already beat ME2 once, then import a lvl 60 character with the "Rich" achievement from ME1, you'll start your game with 350,000 credits.
