Question for Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1

I bought the Harry Potter for the XBox 360. I do not know how to save the data, so then each time we have to start over from the beginning. One prior posted answer suggested that retreating to the "Leaky Cauldron" would save the data. How do you get to the "Leaky Cauldron"?? There's no prompt for such a task. I bought a 4 GB jump drive to save the data as suggested by a Target employee to no success. A neighbor said that only the downloaded games, versus the purchased hard disc, can be saved. Any thoughts??
