Obtaining Abilities in Career Mode

I've played though a lot of career mode with a regular superstar(not a CAW), and I know I've done some various tasks that unlock abilities. For instance, I've kicked out at a 2 count with 2 red body parts (resiliancy), and I've defeated someone who is 20 points higher overall while orange(durability). I've done these and others, yet I have gained no abilities in addition to the ones I started with.

I've already won 6 titles, my guy is like a 96, and I've defended 3 of my titles and become a hall of famer and a legend. Is there something else I have to do to obtain abilites? Are you only allowed to gain abilities for a CAW only, or is it possible to add them to existing superstars? Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, you can only obtain abilities if you play through as a CAW.

You can't obtain any other abilities if you play as a regular WWE Superstar. You can only play as them through that for fun anyways. But make another CAW and do it all again or something if you like it.
