How do you kill the beast in the water after fnding slade in the caves?

You have to grab have the flame thrower and when the battle starts there are three pits that can explode when active. ( You can tell if they are active if the are spewing out gases)

Sit behind the one that is active and when the monster lunges for you make the pit explode into a ball of fire that hurts the monster.
After that it will start swinging its' tentacles at you. This is when it is a good time to find the farthest point away from the sea creature.
And Then when he starts lunging at you again try getting behind a pit that is active and repeat.
The second attack is when it grabs the giant stalagtites or stalagmites ( IDK but they hang from the ceiling. This is when you switch to your knife and just run from end to end until it stops. I can't remember the third attack or even if there is a third attack. Good luck.

The third attack is when the ea surfent starts to through under water rocks at you and here is a good tip play a good game of hurting fishy.start of when you say to your self mommy he took my fake flamethrower I be right there sweety.then do it with the dad and keep doing that untill it dies
