You can turn off creation mode by saving your family/household when you first make them, I know very irritating when you relive you didn't save it, then you have to enter creation mode by going into the pause menu, you will see resume, save, and so on. Then do whatever it is you want to do, copy, or save your house by going to the town map, go to the main menu, click new game and press move in house hold, and there you go. Hope it helps.

If any one want triplets you can eat three watermelon in a row to get girl and three apples to get boys. You can also adopt animals and children for free.
