How do I paint a portrait of another Sim on Sims 3 pets?
My Sim keeps wishing to paint a picture of other Sims and I don't know how!

In the Easel you have the option of painting a Portrait - that will throw the game into target mode then you frame the person and paint.

If it allows that once your Sim gets a certain level of skill you can select Paint Portrait and then it opens the target and you frame the Sim you want to paint - then paint them.

I've done that and I've never gotten the option. One person had the completely wrong idea on a similar questionGuest answered:
For you to paint a portrait you must have level 7 painting skill and have the sim very close to the other. At level 8 you can paint scenery that you've seen around town, and you can paint masterpieces at level 8. I will recommend, though, wait to sell your masterpieces as they will increase in value once your sim dies ;)
