I haven't experimented with aliens in Sims 3 Pets yet, but I'd try using a telescope, the most expensive one you can get just to be sure, and have him/her "search the galaxy" and wait until he/she gets abducted. What'l happen to them while they're away I don't know.

All I know was I got abducted at night near a unicorn afterwards my male sim who got taken gave birth to a baby alien

I am going to try this. To my knowledge you have to get your logic up to around levels 7 or 10. It is a small possibility that your sim can come back pregnant regardless of weather or not it is a male or female. The alien should come after 7 pm so that is when your sim should "search the galaxy". Now to be sure that the alien will come get the most expensive telescope. It should cost around 800 sim money.
