Question for The Sims 3 Pets
Can you get other pets than cats and dogs on sims 3 pets xbox? Because my friend can on PC but I can't on my xbox?

Sorry, you can't get horses on the console version of this game, only on PC. But if you buy a fishbowl in Build/Buy mode, (I forget where I found it, check in Misc. Categories or check all categories of furniture.) And place it down wherever you want, I'd recommend putting it on a table. Then go to "Live Mode" and click the fishbowl with one of your sims, and it says buy goldfish. Then you can name it however you want, and don't forget to feed it! Also, I think when one of your sims go fishing, with the fish you catch, you can put that fish into the fishbowl. If you don't want the fish anymore, you can click on the bowl and click "Scoop out" and you won't have a fish anymore. Also, I don't know if you can get hamsters, birds or snakes in this game. I'm going to have to look it up. Hope this helps you!

If you catch the lizards or the spiders or butterflies you can go to the buy mode an go to your inventory an click on them an it will put them in a cage but you can really feed them or play with them just more for looks

No only cats and dogs .you may see lizards and spiders in the park but you can't have THEM as pets . So to answer your question the answer is no you can't have horses or any other pets other the dogs and cats. Sorry.

If you find one somewhere, you can get it to like you and pick it up and then it is yours.

The only other pets you can buy which aren't cats or dogs are either Hamsters (in a cage) and fishes (in a bowl) that is it!

If you find some kind of bug you have a choice of keeping it. I remember making my sim go inside an old abandon mine and she found a cockroach. When I got back home I went on her inventory, clicked on the cockroach, and clicked place. It automatically puts it in a little habitat continer that your sims can view anytime they want.

true.If you catch something like a lizard, and go to build in buy and go to family inventory click the lizard and place it its not even a bug.

This is not a glitch, you can do this with all bugs, lizards ECT, I had a green thumb aim that collects bugs!

You can get a horse once your sim levels up to pet container it's the second best pet level

If you want to put lizards and spiders on sims 3 Xbox 360 you need to go to build mode then go the household inventory click on it then click place item

If your looking to get something like a hamster or squirrel, you cant. Although if you send your pet cat to go hunting, the more they get their skill up they can catch butterflys, spiders, lizards, snakes, ect. Then if you go into buy mode and go to inventory choose one of the animals your cat has caught and you can place it in your house along with a small cage
