Why are you in jail?

Why do they say that your character is in jail??

Or don't they tell you?

because when you do the "Scene of the Crime" goal, it says you've skated down this, you got 5 years. and no shot!
It means you tried to skate the dam.

Guest answered:

In Skate 1 it did not show it but basically you tryed to skate the San Vanelona Dam and got caught. You got sentenced 5 years and got out in Skate 2 which they re did the city. You find this information out in a mission in Skate 2 called ''Scene of the Crime''
