How can one pick up hookers for fun, but not as an activity?

No you can in saints row 2. I have done this. You gotta have a closed-roofed car and only you in the car. Drive near one of the hookers and honk the horn. When I say drive near I mean like pull up in front of them. Make sure not to hit them. Keep honking. Sometimes it doesn't work truthfully but if it doesn't work just move onto the next one.

You can do it in saints row these are the steps how do to it:
You have to blow the horn
You have to make sure you doesn't hit them
And if it doesn't work move on to the next on.

If I belive correctly, you can't hire hookers on the streets, BUT, I do believe that you can get a homie that's like a hooker by either, completing all of the vice king's snatch activities, OR, by completing all the levels in the vice king's Escort activity.

I don't think you can in saints row 1. But I've never really tried to do that
