Yes I remember that stage and it seems to be very hard but you will have to fight this B.O.W 3 times. The first time is where you have to run from it while climbing and sliding. Don't fret, this takes some time to do but when you use the partner lift 3 times, get inside the elevator. The second time I believe is when Piers turns into a mutant but if you play as him you have to keep shooting it until it turns into a cocoon, when it does shoot it until it pops out and lays on it's back, run up to it and stab it in the heart. This has to be done 3 times. Now the last battle is in a huge arena and all you have to do is shoot it with the strongest gun you have in the back side, you'll see the red glow. Just keep shooting it and you'll beat it. Happy hunting!!!
